The new Kinefinity Connect App enhances field production capabilities by facilitating real-time monitoring and wireless adjustment of camera settings when paired with the MAVO Edge 8K, MAVO LF, MAVO, or TERRA 4K (running firmware KineOS6.5) and an external wireless AP. This application streamlines operations and boosts efficiency significantly.
The cinema camera operates in WIFI Client mode, requiring an external wireless AP such as a smartphone hotspot (not recommended for iPhone 11 or below models, but iPhone 12 series or newer are suitable) or a dual-band wireless router.
The Kinefinity Connect App features three distinct modes/pages:
- Video mode: provides real-time video feed and essential parameters.
- Panel mode: displays key parameters exclusively.
- Setup mode: allows for easy input of slate and project information.
It's important to note that the camera's performance may be compromised when the number of active links exceeds six simultaneously.
